Mission

Building A Global Scientific Forum For Vascular Pathosystems and Biothreats

ISPVP convenes a research community focused on vascular pathogen systems (insect vectors) and their ecological, molecular, and translational dimensions.

Symposium Overview

The 3rd International Symposium for Plant Vascular Pathosystems (ISPVP) will be held on 20-23 October 2026 at South Padre Island, Texas. The theme for 2026 is: Confronting Endemic and Emerging Plant Vascular Pathogens, Insect Vectors, and Diseases Together. We anticipate that this meeting will be widely attended by the researchers, students, and industry personnel working on various crop diseases, vascular pathogen systems, and insect vectors across their ecological, molecular, and applied management aspects. The conference general sessions will span pest/disease diagnostics, epidemiology, omics, intelligent (AI) technologies, pathogen-plant-insect interactions, pathogen biology, insect biology, plant biology, biotechnology, and disease management/socio-economics.

Core Principles

Scientific Rigor

Evidence-driven presentations, transparent methods, and clear interpretation standards.

Stakeholder Relevance

Comparative insights from multiple crop species, pathogen groups, and regional production systems.

Translation

Actionable pathways from discovery to practical disease-management recommendations.

Continuity

A reproducible conference framework allowing each congress host to update content efficiently.
